FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - STUDENTS

1. How can I access the course evaluation questionnaire?

   You can access the questionnaire by logging onto "Student Information" with your username and password at registration.boun.edu.tr

2. When will the course evaluation questionnaire be available?

   During the Fall and Spring semesters, the course evaluation questionnaire becomes accessible for three weeks, before classes end. In the Summer term, the system remains open for ten days before classes end.

3. Is my personal information confidential on the evaluation questionnaire?

   How you rate each course is completely confidential. Your personal information cannot be matched to your ratings in any way. Click here to view a sample report on course evaluation results that an instructor receives.

4. I keep on receiving reminder emails. How can I stop them?

   Reminder messages are sent by the system automatically. You will no longer be sent reminder messages once you log onto the questionnaires for all the courses you're enrolled in, fill them out, and upload them to the system.

5. What should I do if I was late to respond to the course evaluation questionnaire?

   The questionnaire will no longer be available once the system has closed. If you would like to express your views, you may send them directly to the faculty member or department head. While it will not be possible to add your views to the evaluation statistics, your feedback will be evaluated by the relevant people.

6. Some of the courses I'm enrolled in do not appear in the system?

   Some courses cannot be evaluated by questionnaire, so they were kept out of the system. You will not find questionnaires for thesis, project, directed research courses and similar. Also, undergraduate classes taken by less than eight people and graduate courses taken by less than six people are not included in course evaluations (since it would be difficult to maintain confidentiality in small classes).

7. Can I make any changes to my answers after uploading a questionnaire?

   No; questionnaires that have been uploaded cannot be accessed at a later time.

8. I can't find an answer to my questions on this FAQ list. How may I get help?
