THE COURSE EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE

During the Fall and Spring semesters, the course evaluation questionnaire becomes accessible for three weeks, before classes end. In the Summer term, the system remains open for ten days before classes end. Academic units decide on which courses may be evaluated by a questionnaire (with the exception of thesis, project, or directed research courses and similar), and the course evaluation questionnaire is made available for undergraduate courses taken by eight or more, and graduate classes taken by six or more students.

When the questionnaire becomes available, students are notified by an email sent to their address saved on OBIKAS; students who do not fill out the questionnaires for the courses they are taking are sent reminder emails during the time the questionnaire is still available.

Students can access the questionnaire by logging onto OBIKAS. After entering the Course Evaluation System, students may select a course from the list, fill out the questionnaire for that course, and upload it to the system. All course evaluations do not have to be filled out during the same session. As long as the questionnaire is available, students may access it by logging onto the system whenever they wish. Personal information on the questionnaires is kept confidential.
