Application for Graduation
To receive your diploma, your graduation application must be completed, signed, approved, and submitted to the relevant Faculty / Institute ÖBİKAS officer.
- The graduation application is submitted through the ÖBİKAS system:registration.bogazici.edu.tr → Student Information → Application for Graduation.
- After updating your personal information, submit the graduation application form electronically through the system. Once submitted, the form cannot be modified.
- Your application is then sent electronically to the relevant units for approval:
- Library
- Budget and Performance Directorate
- Dormitory
- Student Affairs Office
To receive approval:
- All outstanding debts to the University must be paid.
- All borrowed library books must be returned.
Student Affairs Office approval:
You must return your BUCard.
If you cannot return the card in person:
- Cut the card into four pieces.
- Take a photo of the cut card.
- Send the photo by email to: ogrencibukart@bogazici.edu.tr and request approval.
Afterward:
- Log back into the system and check whether all approvals have been completed.
- Once all approvals are complete, send the form to your Department Chair / Head of Graduate Program for signature.
- Request that they print, sign, scan, and email it back.
- They may also send the signed scanned form directly to the Faculty / Institute ÖBİKAS officer.

BUCard balance refund / donation
- Students with a BUCard balance of 10.00 TL or more who want a refund, or students who wish to donate their remaining balance, must complete and sign the BUCard Student Refund Form.
Submit it in person to the Food Services Branch Directorate or scan and email the signed form to yemekhane@bogazici.edu.tr
